Square
Signs in a square share a modality but belong to different elements. There is a lot of energy and attraction between you, and friction too: you solve the same problems in different ways. These couples grow through conflict, as long as they learn to talk it through.
Elements
Air and earth live at different speeds. The air partner values ideas and freedom, the earth partner results and stability. You can complement each other well - one comes up with plans, the other makes them real - but without respect for your differences, irritation builds quickly.
Pace and temperament
Both signs are cardinal - initiators used to starting things and leading. Together you launch shared projects easily, but you need to divide roles, or each of you will pull in a different direction.
Libra in love
For Libra, relationships are one of the central parts of life. It is romantic, attentive to its partner and loves to be courted beautifully. Libra wants an equal partnership where both people invest. Rudeness and constant fighting drain it, and indecision can delay important steps.
Capricorn in love
Capricorn does not play with feelings - it chooses someone seriously and for the long run. Its love shows in reliability, plans for the future and willingness to take responsibility. Talking about feelings is hard for it, but its word can be trusted. A careless partner makes it wary.
Why one sign isn't enough
Sign compatibility compares only the position of the Sun. Even two couples with the same signs have their Moon, Venus and Mars in different places - which is why it comes easily to some and takes work for others. Exact compatibility is calculated from both partners' birth charts.
